Sparta is an American rock band formed in 2001 by former At The Drive-In members Jim Ward, Tony Hajjar, and Keeley Davis. Known for their blend of post-hardcore intensity with alternative rock sensibilities, Sparta quickly made a name for themselves with their emotionally charged sound and expansive songwriting. Their debut album Wiretap Scars (2002) was a critical success, followed by other records like Porcelain (2004) and Threes (2006). Their music is characterised by soaring melodies, intricate rhythms, and a mix of raw energy with reflective lyricism. Sparta continues to influence the post-hardcore scene with their powerful, dynamic sound.

2000trees was created in 2007 by music festival veterans after attending all the main industry events over a decade. Starting with a simple passion for music and the desire to create a dynamic, energetic and accessible event that put the festival-goer at the top of their priorities.
