Grief Ritual

Grief Ritual are a UK-based band known for their intense fusion of blackened metallic hardcore and extreme metal. Formed in late 2018, they quickly gained attention with their debut EP Life is a Phase (2018) and the follow-up Moments of Suffering (2019). Their 2022 EP Spiritual Disease marked a significant evolution, blending elements of black metal, grindcore, and industrial influences. Their debut full-length album, Collapse (2025), released via Church Road Records, delves into themes of capitalism, climate crisis, and societal decay, featuring collaborations with artists like Harry Knott (Burner) and Rachel Aspe (Cage Fight). Grief Ritual's live performances have earned them slots at major festivals such as Bloodstock, 2000 Trees, and ArcTanGent, and support slots with bands like Knocked Loose, Gatecreeper, and END.​
