Frank Turner playing Love, Ire & Song

Frank Turner

Friday

Forest Sessions - tbc

Frank Turner, the ex-hardcore frontman turned acoustic firebrand, struck gold with his 2008 sophomore album Love Ire & Song. Blending folk punk, folk rock, alternative rock, and emo, Turner channels righteous fury and heartfelt storytelling into anthems like "Photosynthesis" and "Long Live the Queen". Co-produced with Ben Lloyd and recorded on a farm near Winchester, the album's raw honesty and melodic punch earned critical acclaim from Kerrang! and NME, propelling Turner from pub stages to sold-out venues like London’s Scala . Love Ire & Song isn't just a record—it's a manifesto for the disillusioned and defiant.
