Exploding out of Brisbane’s sweaty club scene, DZ Deathrays are a feral force of noise-punk chaos and party-starting riffs. Formed in 2008 by Shane Parsons and Simon Ridley, the Aussie duo built their rep on house party carnage and skull-rattling live shows. Armed with thrashy guitars, pounding drums, and anthemic hooks, they’ve evolved from dance-punk misfits to festival-slaying titans without losing their raw, sweaty edge. Whether melting faces in a dive bar or tearing up main stages, DZ are all about energy, volume, and total sonic mayhem. Think blood, sweat, beers—and riffs that hit like a brick to the face.

2000trees was created in 2007 by music festival veterans after attending all the main industry events over a decade. Starting with a simple passion for music and the desire to create a dynamic, energetic and accessible event that put the festival-goer at the top of their priorities.
