Emerging from Switzerland's underground, Coilguns are a sonic juggernaut blending mathcore, noise rock, post-hardcore, and punk into a chaotic, electrifying force. Formed in 2011, their raw, live-recorded sound channels the fury of Converge with the experimental edge of The Mars Volta. Coilguns are DIY to the core—guitarist Jona Nido founded Hummus Records to champion Swiss noise, while the band self-produces their records, including the 2024 release Odd Love, crafted with Grammy-nominated producer Tom Dalgety. Known for incendiary live shows that leave crowds breathless, Coilguns are the soundtrack for the disenchanted and the defiant.
OUR STORY
2000trees was created in 2007 by music festival veterans after attending all the main industry events over a decade. Starting with a simple passion for music and the desire to create a dynamic, energetic and accessible event that put the festival-goer at the top of their priorities.
